Seriously, I don’t like telling people about my favorite places, because I know that they will take my parking spot or beach spot. But this area is extraordinary. From Santa Barbara to San Diego, I rate this location as offering the best combination of views of the ocean, attractiveness of the area, swimmable beaches, available facilities, and nearby restaurants and shopping. There. Now you know. Stay away.

Beautiful park to go for a stroll. It's a paved path that meanders through grass, benches & picnic tables with views of the ocean before. There are several stairs that lead down to various small beaches along the way. If you're lucky enough to get one of the picnic tables, this would make a great place for a birthday party. We visited on a Sunday afternoon in March and it was pretty busy. Parking is a challenge, but we found a small parking lot and paid $15 for parking right next to the park. It's within walking distance of Main Beach and restaurants.

Beautiful park overlooking the ocean. There is a vast variety of plants and flowers. The walkway stretches about a half mile and loops with short sections connecting in between. You will find a half dozen stairways that lead down to the sandy beach below. From the garden to the beach is maybe 50-100 ft elevation drop. There are several public art installations through the walk. Public restrooms are available.

A wonderful place for an evening stroll. The walkway along the bluffs offers a sweeping view of the Pacific Ocean and Orange County Coastline. Plus there are many great restaurants to try before or after your walk. A recommended place to visit in Laguna Beach.

I believe that parking is free of charge after 7pm
One was possible to go swimming on Memorial Day of 2020 (when I was there). Only fee would be to park your car but compared to LA, parking is very cheap and easy to find
It is fairly level and yes, lots of places to stop and see the water. There is a paved walkway by the bluff edge.
There is a long path but depending on your desired level of activity, it is pretty hilly and goes up and down often the whole length of the park. Another reviewer said this is by Bolsa Chica which isn't really true. You can just see the coves under the park and a little bit of Laguna Main Beach from this park.
Will be open tomorrow
