This place is usually filled with pleasant respectful professional employees. Today, I had an unfortunate encounter with the store manager. He showed me complete disrespect and aggression, I've never seen from any employee in my life. This man might hate women and feels superior to them. He was running back and forth behind the counter, shouting at me. If there wasn't a barrier between us, I believe he might have hit or pushed me. He looked very very angry. All I asked was for the barista to fill up my cup with coffee all the way, and he just lost it. I asked him if Starbucks knew he was their representative, and he told me yes, he was their manager. I am definitely not going back there again because I am not looking forward to be emotionally abused again. Now I understand what emotional distress actually means.
