If you're scheduled to have surgery here, quickly change to any other hospital. It's the worst hospital and staff I've ever experienced. There were 2 good nurses in Pre-op, and the rest must have skipped out on training and clearly don't want to be there. Communication is very poor, and the incompetence is next level. Strangers on the street would care more than this staff. Disrespectful as well. I was scared to stay any longer, as one nurse almost overdosed me by mixing meds. Be your own advocate and stay away from this place.

Hello My Name is Ma Guzman I just had surgery on May 11 ,2022 at East Los Angeles Doctors Hospital Whittier. I feel bad talking about a medical pashicion because I work for one and the patient service is one of the first priorities in this kind of jobs . My first day being in there after surgery really terrible I was in a lots of pain and I called for help and they took more the 2 Hours to check on me thanks to my cousin the she was there with me other wise nobody, Night time is was even worse I was in a lot of pain I called for help and again they never answered they took a long I am talking about hours to check on me at this moment I was just crying because of pain and feeling frustrated, the excuse the nurse gave me, went I told why you guys Don't answer ?ho I was with another patient and I thought some came already ,if the light for help still on if means no one have came to help right. ?so many things that are not correct I and i will not mation names because hospital knos who morning and night staff is, place is a small .but nurses have to change the actitud and the care abot this king of jobs is not only to get a pay check, is abou humanity..understand they Shor stuff like they said but how long that is take to give a patient pain medicine especially after surgery?... But like I said I really apologize for the inconvenience But sometimes little changes can change a lot .. Ma.Guzman 5/14/2022

worst hospital you can go too! My father is being neglected ! His condition getting worse than before they aren’t even giving him medicine ! The hospital is run down and very loud not even letting him rest , another thing to report is the Hispanic security with a man bun. Very rude and angry for no reason , he should be fired . Over all don’t take your loved one there . If I could give 0 stars I would.
