I was a client at the beginning of the year. Ran by new-age hippy types with very little ability to practically apply what's being taught. Staff doesn't handle conflict well; shut down clients with questions they can't answer. Staff was negligent & unprofession. Clients often got pushed aside or ignored when we tried to express a lot of our concerns. Some false advertisement of amenities & programs. There were some circumstances where clients got told they'd be doing one thing during admissions then got put in a totally different program. Residential program in particular was very shady. Understaffed, enprisoned, little programing, isolation. 3-4 WEEKS in detox if you use insurance. Undisclosed treatment times for many clients with, often-times, unjustified extensions. Most of us know the implication here.. Resistant to moving clients forward. They had no room in their sober living (which had similar restrictions to PHP, but hey- at least you get your phone!) and refused to refer qualified candidates to other programs with openings. Implication... Saw very little empowerment of clients. People stayed sick. When things got tough clients got petted and cooed instead of taught lessons. But this is most rehabs nowadays. Stop feeding the Monster. Rehabs don't seem to want to fix people (cue the startling low success rates of rehabs world wide). Kick your loved ones out of the house or send them to AA.

I'm so grateful for the team at Breathe. I've been sober along time and I work with people as they are first getting sober. There are many different ways to get sober, some manage to find it on their own. And others, need more help. My friend was one of the men that needed more help. He had tried and tried to get sober off Meth and it just wouldn't take. Eventually we decided that he needed additional help. Picking a rehab is hard, fortunately I've known other people that have come to Breathe and they found the help that they needed, so we picked Breathe. I am so grateful that we did. It wasn't a linear process and anyone that thinks recovery is a straight shot is mistaken. But my friend is now coming up on a year sober, has rebuilt his life with his family, his friends and career.

I am blessed to have joined the Breathe team since December 2018. I must say I have been working in this field for over 7 years. It is so nice to be working for a compony that has such an amazing ethical standard. Breathe puts clients first before anything and is dedicated to each clients families as well. Such an amazing and strong clinical program. As an employee I have never been treated this well. All I can say is i am blown away by such a dedicated and upstanding company.

Hi there. We offer outpatient services, that don't align for this. Take care. - Brad
Yes.
Hi friend. Breathe takes most private insurance, and has two Breathe Gives Back scholarship beds. Other programs we like for treatment that take MediCal include Tarzana Treatment Center, Cri Help, Van Ness House for some, and more. The MediCal site is a good place to start. Twin Town offers fine and relational outpatient care too.
