I have been involved in The Last House community for the last 5 years now. When I was going through the toughest times of my life and burnt every bridge around me, it was the one place that took me in from nothing with nothing. They never gave up on me and I can say with strong conviction that without the relationships, structure, staff, and everyone involved I would have not stood a chance getting my life on track and being able to have the success I wanted so immensely but was unable to achieve on my own.

The staff at the Last House has been incredible! After interacting with several different programs, my son finally found The Last House. From my first phone call to current day, it’s been honest, straightforward and positive. I never felt like it’s about the money, as with other programs. I felt supported as a parent and was always free to check in and ask for an opinion (even after he graduated). I highly recommended this program, actually this community. I think that’s what sets them apart. They have built a community of structure, support and guidance to help the individuals learn to care for themselves, clean up and grow as a positive member of society. They also helped guide me in the proper support of my son. Today he has over 16 months sober. Something I truly never thought I’d see. I can’t say it enough ... The Last House community is second to none in sober living!

I'm so grateful The Last House gave my son the motivation and life skills to turn his life around. This sober living team knows what they're doing. Their structured and supportive environment was what my son needed to do the hard work of getting and staying sober. Living so far away, I was very grateful the team was accessible and excellent at communication. Thanks to this program my son has his life back and I'm proud to see him now helping others. I feel very confident recommending The Last House!

Before arriving at The Last House I had no plans of getting sober. I arrived needing help that i could not see or feel. The only choice i made willingly was to simply to have an open mind. The structure the house and the feedback given daily was able to let me to begin to see what the world saw. I simply had an open mind to what others had to say about me and my actions. This house combined with daily AA meetings and working with a Sponsor to complete the 12 Steps of AA changed how I thought and helped me realize who i was. That did not match who I wanted to be. I love what The Last House did for me. I am happy today not planning my day around drinking and using. I have the tools and peace to find joy in all situations each day building my life. The Last House saved my life. It's beautiful coming back around each Friday and seeing progress made with all the guys. Management cares more than they can show. Only after completing the program can i look back and understand how much care is taken for each individual. I love being apart of The Last House Family.
