Friendly staff, great selection...plenty of parking in back. Bonus: bookbinding supplies! Recommended.

Really helpful staff, such a selection of great quality paper. Also lots of Japanese stationary, paper conservation and art supplies. Excited to go back.

There are some places, that we should avoid to go/enter... Hiromi paper is one of them... Its impossible not to want to buy every single thing you see, you touch... The papers are simply form another world... amazing quality, variety, colors, textures... Then the little notebooks, and prints in delicate thin as air paper..!!! As I said, this is not a place you should go.

Craving inspiration? Enter Hiromi Paper and surround yourself with their selection of the finest papers of the world, not only Japan. I absolutely adore the KATAZOME decorative Japanese papers available here. Good thing they ship :) Features breathtaking selection of papers for conservation, book-binding (+book cloth), lamp shades, painting, celebration invitations...everything your lovely mind imagines. They also offer workshops in collaboration with artists and much, much more. This place is run by passion! P.S. Convenient parking behind the building.

Hello Karen, we don't carry any katagami paper but we do have kakishibu (persimmon juice) with which you can make your own. Thank you!
Hello! There are two ways you can make a purchase: 1) Come into the store (face masks required) and shop 2) Order online for curbside pickup, and we can bring the items out to you! Thank you!
Hi Linda! We do have some workshops throughout the year, announced through our e-mail newsletters! If you can send us an e-mail, we can add you to the list so you don't miss any upcoming events.
Hi Cherry, Unfortunately we do not. :( If you're in LA you can try some of the shops in Chinatown or even Little Tokyo. --HPI Staff.
Many are 2 feet by 3 feet but I've seen some hanging on the walls that are twice that size, may be larger.
