I just got done reading a few reviews that sounded like people who didn't pay their rental fees and for one reason or another wasn't able to save their unit and of course its everybody's fault except their own. The other rude outrages reviews i read that were also negative sounded like people who got caught braking the rules like being in the gate after hours or braking one of the other rules. Let me just start by saying I have had a storage unit at Golden Valley Self-storage for 10 years and have had times where I forgot about my rent and was politely reminded via e-mail and in one incident I lost track of time and got stuck in the gate. The manager Crystle was a little upset but had every right to be, after all...the hours are clearly posted and she has a family of her own to take care of when work day should be done, but I explained and admitted my fault and apologizes and she was very polite and professional about my mistake and kindly let me out without grabbing my phone or any of the other stuff I have read in some of these negative reviews. As i have mentioned I'v been renting here for about 10 years and if your a decent person who pays their bills and want to deal with very polite and professional people like the manager Crystle is then this is a good safe place to store your property. Sincerely, Robert Caputo P.S. And in 10 years the rent hadn't changed until I moved to a smaller unit and then the rent was lowered!

Constantly raising your rent every few months. I don't care for that approach where they offer you a low price and tell you they won't raise your rent only to do just the opposite. Go somewhere else is what I would suggest. Chrystal in the office has a snotty demeanor and will threaten you with raising your rent if you should ever have an issue.
