Nick and the crew do an excellent job with the vessels here. Been here 7 yrs. Absolutely an awesome place to see and explore.

On Cabrillo Way Marina Website it advertises: "6.5 Ton/11,500 lbs." crane capacity - however weights within 500 lbs. of the limit will trip the load breaker at - usually around 11,000 lbs. Most 32' cruisers are at 10.5k - 11k which means with the lifting tool (steel H bar) + wet slings + legs (sling extensions) will be added to the weight of your boat - causing the crane breaker to trip. Windy conditions are common, so often they'll trip if the boat is jumping & shutdown due to winds. In summary, the crane should lift 11,500 lbs. as advertised, and not put boats on a "do not launch" list...Very misleading.
