They will not process a return/in-store credit on a non working item "due to Covid", but they are still happy to take your donations. 🤣

This is the WORST Goodwill store I have ever stepped into. The shelves are mostly empty and the store is not the cleanest. I have to wonder, where do all the donations I see piling up outside and inside that store go to? I asked an employee and their canned response was, 'well you have to understand that most of the stuff we get is junk, so that is why there is not much in this store'. That is a partial truth. Yes people do take advantage and dump but I know that the majority of donations are credible. So where do they go? I see Goodwill trucks parked in the back, being loaded, but yet that store and many others continue to be partially empty. They are making a killing off their online store! I wonder where all the decent stuff is being funneled to, because its certainly no longer in the Benicia store, and the Napa store is just as bad. They closed the Vallejo store, the one place it was needed the most. Nope not making a donations to this 'iffy' organization.

I really like this store! As I am walking through the entrance, I am immediately greeted with a warm welcome, which makes folks feel special and relevant. I've been to all of the surrounding Goodwill Stores within 25 miles radius of Vallejo and the Benicia store is the friendliest, cleanest, and has the best merchandise and the lowest prices of all! I am a senior on a fixed income, so thrift stores are a necessity to my life. The other stores seems to always raise their prices constantly, which makes me go out and pay retail for something new rather than buy used or donated because the prices are higher and/ or seem unreasonable to me. I highly recommend shopping at Benicia Goodwill!
