Excellent customer service, knowledgeable staff, and great prices. Called up looking for Call of the Wild, they had a brand new copy for $5, he found it, held it, then STAYED open 20 mins after cloning time for us to pick it up. We bought a copy of The Sea Wolf as well. We'll be back for sure!!

Cyclist friendly shop. Bike rack right out front, and didn’t have to hand over my belongings. Excellent. Service was great. Guy at the counter was very helpful and informative. Paperbacks seem to be at awesome prices. Some hard books I was looking at were a bit pricey, but that’s okay. The used book smell is nostalgic. Love it! Will have to come by again sometime.

Best to call the shop. The owner got a lot of calls when we were there where people seemed to be enquiry about of they have a particular title. The owner was patiently and very knowledgeable answering them on phone. I'd recommend just call and ask

yes they do, based on their inventory, demand for the book(s) etc. they will offer cash or store credit for the books that they want, the books they reject can be donated to Friends of the Sac Public library or other charities Beers books on S St also buys books
Not really manly just standard books. They might have one or two but they are not in high demand.
If you call, they are very nice. The owner often answers & is very helpful.
