Axiom no longer owns Aspen Place. KDR owns it. KDR are horrible owners. They have 1 maintenance guy. Repairs are not being done, only "emergency". No pest control has been done, even though they are charging us for it. My next door just signed her renewal lease. It states that we are to mow our yard, shovel the snow off our sidewalks, and replace the furnace filters. We have no place to store mowers, they provide no shelters for the mowers. We have never mowed our yard, shoveled the snow, nor replaced our furnace filters in the past. Trash bins are always FULL. They don't answer their phone, return emails, no emergency phone number, no return phone calls. If by chance the rental manager is onsite, she won't allow visitors. She wants you to call her, but doesn't answer the phone. If by chance one can get in the office, she won't know the answer, she has to email corporate. There is no corporate number to call. So many issues with this system that they have going on. Aspen Place has gone down hill in the last 3 months, since KDR have taken over. I have lived here numerous years, and have had numerous different owners, KDR is the worst..

Overall, it’s an okay place to stay- if you’re healthy and don’t have kids. The buildings are old and it shows. Major safety issues I noticed while living there due to age. Our building is literally falling forward from foundation issues. There is no proper water runoff for when it rains and of course our building was at the bottom of a slope, so it pooled against the foundation, creating a “pond” around the back of our apartment which made the back entrance practically inaccessible. Because of the foundation issues, there are obvious structural issues. Massive massive cracks and bends in some of the walls and ceiling, mainly by the stairs and the front door in our apartment we were in. Seemed to just have been patched and painted over. We had to have our bedroom door shaved down at the top when we first moved in and by the time we left, we were having issues trying to open and close our front door. There is mold on the ceilings in the bathrooms as there are no bathroom fans to use when showering. Brought it up to maintenance before we moved out and was basically told that it would just get painted over. However, no major bug or rodent problems other than brown recluses depending on the time of year. Water pressure sucks and it takes a fat minute for the water to heat up. Had no issues with response time from management or maintenance when putting in a request. Definitely overpriced as they are old and it shows and there are zero amenities other than a very very small playground for little kids. The upside though would be the dumpsters. You can throw anything and almost everything away that your heart desires. They even have a giant dumpster for big items like furniture (that opens from the back btw).

Has only been a week since my girlfriend and I moved in but the warm welcome has been amazing. Lisa in the office replies to my emails, speedy to getting maintenance requests taken care of and the maintenance gentleman i have met is so polite and helpful, all leaps and bounds better than the previous apartment and management group we rented from. The neighborhood is well maintained and quiet and even though it is older construction it is better than many places we have driven through. Biggest thing I love and enjoy is the communication and friendly staff

I must say I have been at Aspen place for over a year and I love it. It's peaceful and people are very kind. The beautiful nature walks I take are comforting. I must say the ladies in the leasing office are wonderful and very helpful..the maintenance crews are on top of their game fixing what needs to be done and in a professional and kind manner. The grounds are kept emaculate he's also very helpful and professional . If there was a pool I would be the happiest tenant here..but that's just me. Lol My son is going moving here also because likes it also. I just want say thank you to Aspen Place for making us feel like 1 big family here. I always recommend to people who are looking for a place to call Aspen Place. ☺
