The owners of the Beast/Edge of Hell are responsible for the death of 2 of the #savethewestbottomscats. I would encourage you all to share this story with as many people as possible and boycott all things owned by Monty Summers, VP of the Historic West Bottoms. He and his family own a Group Real Estate Development LLC, an Event Space in the #westbottomskc The Beast, and The Edge of Hell. The animals deserve more respect.

On Halloween, we we were driving through going back to Oklahoma from Iowa and looked up haunted houses along the way. I initially did NOT want to stop anywhere and if we did, I was just going to wait in the car. We got there super early and the area looked like a legit ghost town. Creepy... We bought the tickets online and we were the 3rd group in line so although we waited a coupe hours for it to open, once inside it went fairly quick. I was very impressed with the whole "tour". I usually don't startle easily but with the atmosphere and set up, they got me a couple times. When we came out, the lines were crazy! I'm glad we got there early! Great job to all the actors and team! I enjoyed the scare! The only negative feedback is the port-a-potties. We couldn't use them, they were so full, all of them. With as many people and time in lines, there should be more of them and emptied or changed more frequently.

Wasn't scary at all. Hardly any actors to scare you in the haunted house if you want to call it haunted. Drove all the way from Oklahoma for a big disappointment! Your just pretty much trying to find your way through the dark and people piling on top of each other cause they can't find their way out to the next room. I understand it being dark but at least have a lil faint lighting to see where the next entrance is. Needed more actors to scare people. Saw this place on the travel channel and looked really good but was not good at all. Best part was the slide. We changed our minds on doing the beast after being disappointed from this one. Waste of money!!

The absolute worst haunted house I’ve been in. They’ve been doing this for over 30 yrs and they don’t seem to know how to stagger entrants. We were stuck in the last part of the tour for almost 20 minutes with groups piling up on each other. They attention to art and detail are great but the way they ran this tonight is the absolute worse one I’ve been seen. Will never be back and a complete wast of money. Maybe next year they’ll get it figured out.

I bought a package for Edge of hell & The beast online. I recommend buying the VIP to avoid a long wait in line.
