My son 3 year old had a cut above his eye, we brought him in. We wanted to glue it because well we didn’t want him to go through the traumatic experience of stitches yet. So as the doctor squeezes the bottle of glue and prompts that it isn’t necessary to cover his eye and also conveys how hard it is to get the glue out of the bottle (maybe there is an obstruction in the bottle) it lets lose and spills into my 3 year old sons eye. Is she apologizing NO she isn’t, she says oops ! Walks out and leaves the nurses to clean up the emotional mess she created. I am shocked! Why wouldn’t a doctor agree to cover the eye. It’s clearly necessary for a cut on the brow line and not to mention your patient is 3! I am just so mad and want to warn people of this Doctor. We are not sure what steps are next but this lady will definitely know my name and not make this mistake on another child.
