Best museum ever! Very cool, absolute fun, and educational! I went on the guided tour at 1:30 pm today with Warren Curd. He was very funny, and in my opinion, was the best one there! Hope Warren sees this :)

My husband and I enjoyed walking around the museum. Lots of history to read and the volunteers were so nice and informative. We even got to see a couple of the planes take off.

Wow, what a beautiful little museum. The workers/volunteers were such a joy to interact with. It was was great to see people who enjoy working there. They were also quite knowledgeable about the planes they had in the exhibits. Definitely something to check out if you are interested in military aviation. Also great for most children.

One of the best displays of WWI and II aircraft I’ve ever seen. Tour guides were very knowledgeable and understood what drove the development of each aircraft. Expected to do a quick 1+ hour tour and stayed for almost 4 hours. The detail of the restorations are unmatched. Well worth the visit.

Yes
Wheel chairs are available free of charge in the museum.
They have a small snack area with a few vending machines. Don't let that deter you from going. It's a very neat place!
The weekend before Memorial Day weekend, May 18 through 20.

The closest hotels are 11 - 13 miles away from the Museum. There are several in the Oceanfront area of Virginia Beach, as well as several along I-64 in Chesapeake that are approximately the same distance away.
