Griswold's Christmas House Display

If you love National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation then you need to visit this home during the holidays. The owner does a tremendous job of transforming his home to look just like the Griswold home. Recently, he painted his house yellow and this past year he even built a 2nd story facade to make his single story home look more like the 2 story home from the movie. He has snow fall every 15 minutes and the movie is playing in the front yard. He has many, many great places to take pictures and selfies. There are life sized manikins of all of the cast that look genuine. I visited a few times and the owner is always outside socializing with his guests and answering questions about his masterpiece.

So much fun! If you are in the area make sure to stop by, you feel emersed in the Griswold family Christmas. It is beautiful at night but equally as cool during the day before the millions of Iights. This house display never disappoints. The street is coned off and it makes it easy to view the house because you can stand in the street and not worry about getting hit by a random car. The owner is very cool & is always outside with everyone. Every year he has added more to the whole display.
