Nice clean large dog park. Need a side designated only for puppies. They have an off leash trail which is great. Can't wait for my dogs to get old enough to walk it. Clean bathrooms.

Regularly visit here to walk the "fitness trail" down to Sandy Beach to see the Rivanna River, sit at one of the three picnic shelters (which can be reserved for events through parks and rec), and meet with people for brief outdoor meetings. Lovely place that is well kept. The dog park also has a fenced area, which I have never used for my dogs, but it seems nice as well with multiple play yards and water on site. There is also a composting toilet restroom if needed, although it can get a little smelly...stick better than a porta-potty! This outdoor area is a local gem.

Great place to take the dog and the kids.. No playgrounds but lots of trails down to the river beautiful scenery. There's some nice Pavilions there that you can have a fire cuz there's a fire pit also grills if you want to grill out nice picnic tables
