Nice little vineyard. Met with Mr. Bodie (who is going to be 90 years old this year) and talked about his expensive hobby of winemaking and his family history. He was really nice and I enjoyed speaking with him.

we went in a group of 6 and were stuck by the quality of both ...wine and host this is a small jewel in Powhatan crown i high recommend the white...the red was favored by a member of our prty that cant not take the tannins in red wine...he bought two bottle of red .....an excellent way to spend the afternoon and an excellent wine ....thanks Clyde for so much fun

Hi Shelley! Thank you for your question! You have helped identify a photo that has been posted via a wine-adventurer's blog, quite outside our ability to modify. We believe that the photo resembling a large tree, chairs, and sidewalk is actually from a vineyard near here, that was most likely featured in the same blog posting, and thus became mistakenly linked with our own page. We are working to remove this photo as soon as we are able. The other two photos currently featured are indeed ours. We are a small farm winery, and like all farms, are sometimes prone to insects not quite friendly to a comfortable experience for our guests. We apologize that you caught us in the middle of safe-guarding our outdoor-seating area as a preventative of care. We want to provide a relaxing experience for all of our guests.
Hi Sheila, Thank you for your question and interest! Bodie Vineyards is open from 1-6pm Monday - Saturday (1-5pm in the winter season). We are a small farm winery with two varieties of wine available: a red and a white. When you visit, you'll get to see first-hand a small, family-owned farm winery in operation with a wine-making process passed down generations, and speak one-on-one with the vintner, a unique experience.
