They kept pulling payments from my account even after requesting them to stop automatic payments. I never authorized them to take automatic payments. They did that themselves and took money twice within 18 days. I’d like to educate myself on consumer rights and build a nice genuine relationship with a few Lawyers. We can’t be afraid to stand up for ourselves, because there’s people out there that’ll be more than happy to help us in situations like this.

The poorest possible customer service. Their employees are extremely young, are not given authority of any kind to solve problems and do not follow up, either with customers or relevant technical support people. It took 11 visits to install my service (and I had to take a day off from work each time) and I’ve been trying for almost three months to cancel my service and get them to stop billing my credit card. One of the worst companies I’ve ever encountered.

I've used this service for at least three years and never had a problem. Yes ... DSL Extreme is AT&T internet. The installer came in an AT&T truck. It's just much cheaper. You pay a different company for the same service. Incredible! I know, right. It's possible due to deregulation laws dating to the 80s. It's worth noting AT&T U-verse has about 1 1/2 stars, and I think all ISPs have low ratings. Cable is no better. 2 stars is not bad, and I've personally never had a problem with DSL Extreme service going down. In fact, my neighbor has AT&T and she complains about her service occasionally going down, and yet, we are on the same lines. Disclaimer: I'm not paid by DSL Extreme. I simply was checking my credit card information and was surprised by the low reviews and complaints. This service may truly by poor in other parts of the country, but not where I live.

Stay away from this company. FRAUD and TRAP are the proper words for this company. They will keep you in contract for as long as they can and charge as much as they can. I am a senior and I was paying over $30 a month for the slowest service. It was so slow, most of the time I got frustrated and gave up on using my internet. When I called to cancel for not providing good service, they tried to upgrade to the next expensive level and wanted to renew my contract for one more year. I stayed and paid for the entire year and used another company's service at the same time. When I finally cancelled it after my contract was up, they charged me for additional month. They said it is their policy to charge 30 more days after cancellation. I even sent a letter to the CEO. THEY DO NOT CARE. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. THIS COMPANY SHOULD NOT EXIST. I have a grate service with Spectrum now for $15 a month and it works beautifully. And, there are no contracts. I can cancel any time.

We are experiencing the same exact thing.. Had just email for over 10 years and thought we woukd branch out and get internet services. It never worked and they still charged us 200 and then cancelled oir emails! Horrible company

Don't know. But i strongly urge anyone tinstay away from DSL Extreme. They have a very bad business pratice. Their connection is terrible. I am using anotger servuce while i am still paying montly for DSL Extreme because it cost me more to cancel. Now i am just waiting for the contract to expire. Useless service.
Wondering how come this company hasn’t been sued yet simply for the reason that they have not delivered a service that all customers have paid for but did not receive! Isn’t that fraud?
