The rooms are super clean. The staff is very nice. The building is really cool. The staff will show you around if you ask. It would be cool if they had a self guided tour. The grounds are awesome. The pool (and hotub) is only open till 6? (my only complaint). This is a cool place for a quiet night. Tarrytown is a pretty quiet place, not a whole lot to do besides tour some other mansions. The hotel restaurant is a work in progress, they are still recovering from COVID rules designed to put them out of business. You can dine"privately" but that's kinda dumb.

I was excited to visit this place, but it was closed. I was mesmerized by their online photos, but when I got there, the grounds were bare. I will visit again in better weather and request a tour.

Stayed one night, Sunday to Monday. It was a childhood dream to stay here..since I was 7, I just turned 69. But being it was a private residence at that time, that didn't work out :). This was a gift from my son, helping me to fulfill a little girls dream of being a "princess"...even for just one night. Room was great..clean and having all nesseciites we needed. Served a grab and go breakfast in the morning. Was able to walk around most areas freely, and was taken by hotel manager to see the ballroom, which was actually closed when I did my "own" tour. I asked him and he was more than glad to do it (Thank you Brian W.) It was a very quiet and relaxing night. We enjoyed our stay and hope maybe to return one day. "Princess Cheri" :)
