What a great place! It was really fascinating to see their array of exhibits spanning the history of the US space program. You never understand the huge scale of the rockets until you see them in person- they are enormous! The planetarium was fun and a little dizzying. I went in the summer so space camp was in session and it was great to see all those kids so engaged.

I checked off a bucket list item of things to do with kids before they move out. It had much to see and explore for the history-curious and much to touch for the hands on experiences. The planetarium proved to be an interesting show on the different planets. The host kept it a little humorous with his fact sharing. The spinning experience made all of the kids laugh as they twirled around, though for $10 for 1 minute... It took us about 3.5 hours to tour, though adults without young children may be able to spend longer looking at the signs more. An indoor playground kept them entertained while the bolder kids explored the rocket center. An outdoor exhibit with creative stops entertained everyone with some activities to draw space related pictures on chalkboards and take a turn on carnival type rides. We learned a lot about the history of the space ships and air travel. The place proved clean in the bathrooms, the concessions, and the indoor and outdoor exhibits. The staff gave everyone around us friendly service.

The people who work here take great pride in their history. It was great to see all the authentic pieces. We enjoyed the ability to climb into some of them and feel what it was like to be an astronaut. We also liked walking through the replica of the international space station. They have many experiences that are not included in the admission price. So go check then out first before you decide which ones to choose. The place is showing its age.

I went yesterday April 3rd. It was awesome beautiful weather. There were a lot of people but you couldn't really tell it except from the parking lot. There is so much space and places to visit that it was extremely enjoyable. If history is your cup of tea, I highly recommend a visit to this place. It is great for all ages. I even noticed they had motorized scooters you rent if you couldn't walk long distances which I thought was thoughtful. Everyplace seems wheelchair accessible. So do go and enjoy yourself.

Several, including space shot, g-force, one where you land the space shuttle, one where you land the apollo astronauts on the moon, and another where you dock two space craft together.

They're very picky about "allowing" kids to use them.
Yes. You can do either or.
They do offer discounts for military but I dont think families.
Free parking for any vehicle you bring. I've seen massive RV and MotorCoach as well as 18 Wheeler
