Great service + responsive to my need, replacement estimate for water heater on the high end- -I suppose one pays a premium for competence. That said, they didn’t hard sell me, and I appreciate that. Would 100% use these guys again, especially if flexible with pricing.

I had the need for back-to-back service calls this week due to differing plumbing issues, the second one necessitating a two-member technician crew from Albert Nahman Plumbing & Heating to complete the job. Like ANP&H colleague Jared Brown the day before, technicians Angel and Nick (I should have asked for their last names. . . sorry) showed up on time, assessed the problem and the most appropriate and cost-effective fix and were prepared to do the job, which they completed quickly. I am completely happy with the service I’ve received on multiple occasions now from Albert Nahman employees. Hopefully I won’t have any more plumbing issues for a while, but living in a 70-year old home, I know that’s not realistic. When the time comes and I need plumbing help, I’ll call Albert Nahman.

Needed sewer clean out due to near overflow catastrophe last week. Call center reps were helpful. Automated notification system worked well. John and Sam were thorough in performing the service. They set up camera on phone so I could watch the initial process and explained what I was seeing. They used a hydro technique rather than snaking. After the job, John explained about the sewer lateral situation. I have combination of galvanized and clay pipes. All in all, a pleasant experience. Great job John and Sam!

Great honest service. We had been using another well-recognized plumber for years, but were recently told that we had some extensive/expensive work to do. We called Albert Nahman for a second bid and the technicians who came not only told us we did not, in fact, need to do that work, they let me see the video feed proving it. They also have me pointers on how to avoid major problems going forward for our particular issue. Would definitely recommend and they will be my go-to plumber from now on!!

Questions & Answers

Our toilet (in central Berkeley) seems to be stuck because of something clogging inside the lower part of the toilet bowl. Approximaely how much would you charge to take off the toilet and take out the obstruction?

Hi Marjorie, we would distr try plunging, next step is auguring and the last is pulling the toilet. Progressively more expensive, but starting at $206. Give us a call if you need help, we will waive the service fee to come out.

Hello, my toilet has issue as following: 1. the water tank full filled water very slow. 2. snaking draining out seems not that smooth, not sure if it is stoppage or not. to fix above problem, how much would be?

My suggestion would be to consider changing the toilet as it might be a fixture issue rather than drain. We can pull the toilet and run water down the drain to determine if it draining properly. if it is not a drain issue, then replace WC at that point. A new low flow toilet installed is approximately $900-$1200 depending on the model.

Do you service tankless wearer heaters, and if so, what is your charge?

Yes, and they're very reasonable. I don't recall how much exactly, but I just needed mine turned back on after gas shutoff. I found out however, PG&E does that for free, but they won't come as quickly and it sucks to go without hot water for more than a day.
