Great staff, better than elsewhere and diverse inventory, worker owned, clean, knowledgeable personnel, but watch the pricing on the trivial items...they sneak em upward and it gets surprising at checkout. I love 'em though.

This is THE store in Marin county where all the interior designers and high-end construction/remodeling companies to get their top-notch quality products besides many stylish do-itself home/business owners. If you’ve been to this store, you may know they have so many variety of fixtures from door handles to bathroom fixtures. Name a few, they even have Fusital (Valli & Valli) hardware on the display section which they could order them for you. They have an extended catalogs behind the desk to look up if you have a company name to look it up for the exact model number so you could order them on your own if they don’t carry. Every time when I’m there, I’m ended up asking an assistant from the employees for a part or a repair that might have an easy straightforward solution or parts to be found. They either suggest a workaround or even offer other companies near (or online) where I might find a part. Everyone at the store have been the best parts of this store to stand out far from others. They takes time with you and look for things and never rush. And we’ve been renting a weed wacker every spring to cut down fire fuels. There might be other construction & landscaping tools/gear rentals. Jackson’s Hardware is a very unique business in San Rafael that I’m so grateful to live near by.
