Love this joint! Folks are friendly, live music most days. Sun nights are jam nite , not just blues. The players skill ranges from beginners to seasoned pros. While there were times when I found it a tough listen, still its nice to know that if you wanna play, you're welcome there. I definitely had a good time when I got up there. And what a killer stage! At least 3ft. up of the floor, great system and the MC was cool. Went late too, which is a big plus in my book. Plus, DOG FRIENDLY, as long as you have a friendly dog! Next time my pooch is going with me, yay!

They could have been more people at the gig but apart from that the place is all you can ask from a great live rock n roll bar. Lots of beer, fast service, good sound and light on the band. Wish I could gig here myself!

Great place for live music of all sorts. Kind of a warehouse feel with a high stage (+4'?), decent stage lighting, a decent sound system that is capped at a certain decibel level by order of the City of Sunnyvale, but it's all the volume you'll need to dance, yell your drink order, and fit in with the 30s to 60s age range crowd. And the crowd isn't usually too crowded. I've never seen it pack-packed, it's always been comfortable, medium, or thin in attendence. Weekend band cover charge is usually $10. Tuesday and Thursday, or at least one of those nights, is karaoke... It's free and it's usually not a long wait to get your stage time, then cycle through again for your next one. It's casual karaoke, sometimes work groups of 30-somethings singing duets, old guys grunting out something barely intelligible, and/or the wannabe rocker doing his/her best but not great high pitched hairband screams with bull horn hand gesture raised overhead. Thursdays and Sundays are Jam Night with the house band/group/people, no cover. Bring your honed or budding talent and an instrument or voice or maybe borrow an instrument from the house (maybe) and let's see what ya got. These are great nights to watch free live rock, blues, R&B, and sometimes some of the other genres. And. There's. A. Pool Table. Lots of free, well lit parking since it's in an industrial complex, and that's good because you may need the money you save on parking for the drinks, which I wish had that "warehouse feel" pricing but is a little more like "civic center" ($8 for a craft beer or low-shelf mixed drink). I would comment on the main/lead bartender, but I have such a big crush on her I'd rather you just didn't know. Nothing to see here, place your order and move along back to a table with your friends. Go on, shew! But getting back to your friends isn't always going to happen quickly, and you may wait a little while for that drink sometimes, but it's usually some kind of entertaining when you do. Open til 2-ish a.m. almost every night they're open. Closed Mondays. Kitchen is finally open again post-Covid, but I have no idea what the kitchen hours are... You have to do a little work on your own here, sheesh. Be sure to tell them you read Six's Google review and you may get a free drink or price! But more likely that you will not. Very unlikely, actually. But you never know...

For a live music dive bar, this place is great. The bartenders are friendly, the beer selection is decent for the venue. The music is legit and the musicians rotate through. For a dive bar this place is a solid 5.
