What can I say about this gem π. Iv been to a lot of SB's across globe and I had to wait in line for ever... this place has all good parts... no rush or lines. Its located in a very good location with tons of shopping around and good parking. It's a vegetarian delight...heaven to south Indian foodies. Any dish will remind you of incredible india... just head there with your family and you will love it. Food is amazing. People are very friendly especially the female waitress we had was sooo funny and welcoming. Loved this place.

This is a great restaurant with Authentic south Indian food. Really good quality food and portion size is sufficient. I ordered combo plate and it had variety of sides. They show mini dosa on combo it was like any regular size dosa. Highly recommend this place.

Besides hanging ball decor and Tamil songs playing the background, I donβt think this particular restaurant has a lot to offer. Although the South Indian Tiffins/Breakfast menu looks authentic, items donβt taste as good. The flavors are bland. Try flipping a coin to check your luck if food being served is hot, with exception of coffee of course which was hot every time. Have tried Mysore masala dosa, podi dosa, masala dosa, idli and vada. Was not fortunate enough in finding an item for my tasting. Service is another issue here. You need to order your food before you are seated at a table. And then you are suddenly under an invisibility cloak. Surprisingly, most waiters didnβt understand English so had to play dumb charades to request hot sambar/chutneys which was fun but wouldnβt pick restaurant for such activities. Now, If youβre craving vegetarian South Indian breakfast food and you do not find any other restaurant open for some reason, you could try your luck with this one.

I have been a customer of Saravana Bhavan for long years and I have eaten in many town and Cities. This Saravana Bhavan is definitely let us down. We went there as a group of 9 and we tried many items on the menu. I would say none of the items lives up to Saravan Bhavan standard. Coffee was the only item that was good. What is really surprising is that they had so many customers both for dine-in and to-go, but they were clearly understaffed. Some of the items took a long time to come. Once they serve, none of them will look at you. Very bad customer service!

Hotel Saravana Bhavan is almost open on all days. I've never seen them closed even on public holidays or for festivals celebrated in Tamil Nadu.
