Go not too long after it rains and you’ll enjoy green grassy knolls that can remind of Scotland. Great views. Not a hard hike 1,724 foot climb. My dog loved it

It is a constant beautiful clean up trails. From top of the mountain most of the San Fernando valley is visible. Great areal view.

Also known by locals as Mission Peak or the "Three Trees" On a clear day you can see the tall buildings of L.A. over the mountains and an excellent view of the San Fernando Valley. Wouldn't mind having my ashes spread there, overlooking the valley, Van nuys where I was born and the house that I grew up in on Lithuania drive.

It's a good meandering neighborhood trail. Great views of SF Valley, though less picturesque than other upper-tier trails in LA. As challenging as your desired pace, and up to 7-8 miles round trip, depending on your route (long way around ends at O'Melvaney Park).

Yes you can. Start show pace. Bring plenty of water. Just remember, you're not obligated to do the whole walk, do 20 minutes the first time. And then you'll know better.
The hike to the top is uphill, pretty much the entire way...so it's not the easiest trail in the area either. I've been doing it 2-3x's a week for a while, & can finish the entire hike in just over an hour, if I don't pause at the top to enjoy the view. But let's be real, the view is the best part.....
Yes, you can park on Neon Way and usually it is available.
