Don’t bother spending your money here or online with Lowe’s. Online is quick to take your money for inventory they do not have in the store, and if you miss this review, and do so anyway, the in house sales rep Sarah, will recommended you buying through another store before going to look and see if the store can accommodate you or make the process any simpler for you. Overall the store lacks customer service over the phone as the reps like to pass off issues to someone else without notifying the customer they are being transferred. I rather pay more at Home Depot than spend my money again with Lowe’s.

I went in for LED light switches since I was changing over my whole house to LED lights to save money. I went in and found that they only had 2 switches left. They are $69 a piece. You’d think they’d keep these in stock. I’ve made several trips on different days over two weeks to find none were refilled. A lot of items I find are not in stock as well. I finally went to the Home Depot website (while at Lowe’s) and found that they were in stock, how many, and what aisle they were on as well. Even what part of the aisle. I went there and sure enough, they were there. I ended up buying over $500 in light switches and switch frames. (LED programmable switches are expensive). Lowe’s missed out on a big sale. I still don’t have all that I need but I was told they would be restocked by next week. With all my previous great experiences with Home Depot, I’m sure they will be. I don’t know why I keep going to Lowe’s. I think that was my final trip. (Picture is is two of the remote switches bought at Home Depot, that Lowe’s didn’t have.

The appliance department team was very helpful in answering questions regarding the various dishwashers I was considering. I came back after shopping around a bit and ended up ordering; they price matched a competitor even though it’s technically a special order. Great experience from them.

The place is close to i5 so you'd find it easily. Has a good amount of selection per big appliances you can think. The cashier gave me a weird look when I asked something about shipping and installation (probably because I was just wearing a hoodie and shorts). But then kinda lightened up when I mentioned I'm buying a Washer/Dryer and Fridge and answered me clearly. For military folks they offer 10% off for your purchase that aren't marked down already. This applies to coupons as well so be aware of that. All in all I think it's a good place to shop as long as you don't mind being pre judged.
