Very nice course! Good ambiance. Beautiful practice green and range. They go on grass for practice tees on the driving range on Thursdays which is nice!!🏌️♂️⛳

This is a beautiful park with extensive grounds, a duck pond, and a golf course.

Cool spot to take young adults, kids and old people too! Nice views, fishing, golfing and walking around.

Per their website, no license is required - http://www.rsrpd.org/simi_valley/parks/simi_hills_park.php
Parking along the fishing pond is on a slope. But with assistance, there should be no problem accessing the area.
Yes, anyone can fish. Although I like to recommend that, by law in" California" I would suggest that you have a fishing license for fresh water or salt, Just in case, For some reason the cops or wildlife & game ask and doesn't issue you a ticket. But I myself have fished there many times and never experienced anything like that. & Keep in mind it's just a pond on the entrance of a golf course, nothing to big, so if you are to cause any attention negatively you are going to run into some trouble, in my opinion with my experience with the place. Not saying you are but just wanted to let you know that it's a very small town and I am from Palmdale area and I am amazed that you don't see trash every where and beer bottles broken where are worried about your kids playing. And mainly I think it reflects of the people in the city care about the place they live in and everyone does there part to help the place stay nice. Now the pond currently has a lot of moss but I talked with locals recently and they tell me a couple months wasn't like that but I figured out here in the aquaduct and to me dealing with moss is a every time thing so I can't complain they did but hey to each is own and I lastly like to add that you don't have to fish it's a good place to walk, they have a lot of grass that is a great place to kick a soccer ball throw some football or playing catch with a baseball and maybe just having a picnic and doing a little bit of everything 😆 sorry for the longest answer ever. But I just wanted to answer honestly. Hope that helps you and hope for you to have a good time here. Thanks
