They didn't have a cat for me, but the place is amazing. Like a little camp for dogs. Very nice. When we need a dog I will go back.

I'm sure they are a good outfit but no help for me. I had a pit rescue that I needed to rehome or get her transported to the north they said they couldnt help me.

They helped in a way that nobody else could. A wonderful dog, truly the smartest that I've ever known, was able to find refuge when circumstances prevented me from being able to care for him any longer. For those looking for a new pet or possibly somewhere to do volunteer work....consider giving them a call. Rome is a Borador. Smart, human-like, and definitely a life worth saving. No fancy papers, no pedigree, but truly a one-of-a-kind!

The place looks very nice from the outside, we couldn't get in the gate is locked, I called, several times and no one will ever answer the phone. If they would like for their animals to find forever home, then taking a phone call, and unlocking the gate so family's can get in to talk would be a great start. Their website is not good at all, I never saw any animals on it for adoption.

Lucy, thank you so much for your support and kind words. I am sorry to hear that you have not been receiving updates. You will be pleased to hear that thanks to generous donors, the sanctuary was rebuilt and has been operating and serving hundreds of dogs and cats, as well as serving as a permanent sanctuary for horses and pigs. Thanks to the new buildings we can continue to serve as a bastion of hope for Mississippi's most under-served animals for many years to come.
