Beautiful park, mostly well kept, with lots of trails, a campground ($20/night), picnic areas, a large lake, and a swimming area. Bathrooms could use more attention on busy weekends, but overall a very nice experience for the $5 day use fee.

Kids had fun but there was jelly like stuff in the water that was gross. Kids said it was where eggs were laid. 🤔 It was still gross lol

It was nice but I think when you rent the pavillion you shouldnt have to pay the $5 fee to get in.

Apparently the lake is 'under construction.' I guess they just drained the whole thing. Despite my better judgment, we did the full "lake" trail. Other than being hot because we were stuck in the sun for more than half the trail, it stunk, trees were down all over, and they turned off running water to the water fountains. It was an absolutely miserable walk around a puddle of dirty water. Pictures of before look nice, but until they are up and running I would NOT recommend visiting!!
