This store is amazing has a great selection of drinks and has ready to go sushi. It's almost like a 7eleven

New ownership as of Spring 2022. The store is now run by the same owner as Pan Asia Market. The loyalty card program has been redone, and the aisles are much less crowded with merchandise than they used to be.

Almost always come here when in overland park. Has a nice equipment area for woks, sushi knifes, and more. Great snacks as well.

This is a medium sized Asian Korean grocery store with an excellent selection and descent prices. The staff was friendly and nice. Plenty of kimchee and tofu. They have canned, jarred, dried, fresh and frozen foods, and lots of good sauces, plus plates and cooking eguipment. Prices were good but not great. I didn't see a lot of large bags of spices.

Yes. They have blocks of konnyaku. Both the clear kind and the one with seaweed specks in it. It's currently in the refrigerator section with Japanese pickles. Sometimes I've seen ball shaped konnyaku, and they usually have konnyaku noodles too (shirataki). Oriental Supermarket is the best place to buy Japanese groceries in the entire Kansas City area. I haven't found a store that sells more Japanese products than they do, even despite its smaller size than some of the other nearby Asian markets. Korean and Japanese are the top things you'll find there, with a mixture of others.
I haven't seen 5 in 1 Kacip Fatimah & Collagen Coffee here.
They do!
Yes we do
Yes we do. It is in the hardware section
Yes you can. I have used snap benefits many times.
Yes and they have kimchi freshly made
Yes, all Japanese sauces. They have whole dedicated to it.
I agree! I like how their prices are clearly marked
They do not currently offer delivery.
Yes we do.
No, we do not.
Social distancing maintaining 6 ft distance, everyone must wear a face covering and they were witnessed wiping down register areas.
Yes
We have them in cans or in paste form for making the broth.
Yes, we do.
There a couple different kinds. They have plain rice cake, sometimes fresh, but normally they do have frozen. If you are looking for sweet rice cakes they have a couple fresh options for that too, but sometimes frozen too.

We've been able to find Soju @ Gomers & HyVee Liquor stores.
Not that I have found. 83rd street liquor does though.
No, but we were so amazed at What they had. Definitely worth checking out.
It maybe a seasonal item, but I have seen them there before
They do have pancit noodles, I've seen them myself. Not sure of the size or price, but it's most likely less than at any other market. Their selection and prices can't be beat!
I've never seen any Asian supermarket close for any holidays whatsoever.
I believe they do. In the freezer on the back wall. Go straight or to the right when walking in the door. Left of the the butcher of fresh fish. Hope you find it Whole Foods may have it also
Thank you! :) wow I appreciate all the responses I am so excited and looking forward to going to the store!
They have both. There are a lot of Asian restaurants have dishes for both. In fact, a Korean restaurant next door has dishes with that. Or you can go to a Chinese buffet to try it.
I've never seen it there. Didn't mean they won't carry it. Like Connie said I'd give them a call. If they don't have it maybe convince them to carry it.
Yes they do. First place I've ever purchased it.
Only restaurants sell hot and sour soups ready made. No such thing as canned hot and sour soups. There are other more traditional options in dry instant forms, such as ramen type or seaweed soups. To make your own is really easy and ingredients to make it are available. Please check online recipes. Cafe Vie next door will have stuff you can try out, because they are a food court / fast food style - ish restaurant. Same owner if not mistaken.
Yes. There are taro. Pics will come later.
