Just heard Southern Housing’s radio commercial. “The sale is not final until you are in your home and completely satisfied.” My mother bought a home from Southern Housing over a year ago. The house wasn’t finished properly when placed on her property. Where the house was joined inside and out is horrible. Brent Harris promised to take of everything but as of yet, nothing but empty promises. Don’t buy from this company because they offer a product because it’s cheaper than other places. Trust me, it’s worth the money to have someone honest to deal with elsewhere.

Brent Harris and crew got the job done and quickly. We had some hiccups, but it all was done when they said it would be done. Great workers and friendly staff.

We was told we would have our house in 4 weeks after we closed on it. We paid a big down payment on July 19. It is now September 10th. NO HOUSE! They have told us they would have it delivered 3 different times and nothing.

The only reason I gave 1 star is because good doesn't allow a negative number of stars on a review. My wife called this place and explained our current credit situation and told them our credit scores etc. She spoke with Derrick Young who told her that we would be OK and he could get us financed if we could put up a decent down payment. We advised him what we could put down and he assured us that he could get us financed. At that point, he tells us to come to their lot which is 135 miles from where I live and pick out something. After us getting excited and picking something out, he tells us that he is going to do a soft inquiry on our credit so he could see where our credit scores were. It ended up taking points off my credit score because it was indeed a hard inquiry just as all dealers do. He assures us again that we can get financed. Then they send my information to a lender who then pulls my credit report 2 more times which in turn pulls my credit score down even more. All of that was just to find out that we were turned down for a loan. My point is this, they will tell you whatever they have to tell you to get you there and talk you into an overpriced home and try to get you financed at 10% interest or higher. DO NOT GO HERE. THEY DO BAD BUSINESS!!!! Very very dissatisfied!!!
