Excellent historic park. Clean and treated with the respect it deserves as a Civil War historic site. Great views with the Tennessee River. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.

We started our visit to the park at the visitors center and was immediately greeted by the staff. Very welcoming and knowledgeable Rangers that took us thru the museum and explained different parts of history. They took time to answer our questions and explained and mapped out the trails for us as they are currently working on improving the trails to make them more user friendly. Absolutely beautiful park and we really enjoyed our day here. Come out and visit Johnsonville State Park you won't be disappointed. Loved this park and can't wait to see the improvement to the trails.
