Lived in KC most of my life and have lived in 4 other cities of comparable size and some smaller. Moved back here for family considerations 8 years ago. This city is collapsing w/ ultra high taxes from both state, county and city sales tax and illegal 1% city earnings tax. Leaving early summer next year and good riddance to this corrupt squandered joke.

I don't think you can... marriage certificates are issued by the county, not City. You might contact General Services at 513-1313 to see if it's even an option.
