Recycled my metal here today and it was an easy and good exchange. A worker greeted me when I arrived and helped unload my items. An easy process and I would come back again.

Took #1 copper in, clean and bright. They called it #2 copper and ripped me off a couple hundred. Will never go to them again. They wouldn't even discuss this with me. Had my spouse take it while I was at work. Very disappointed

Went here first time today to recycle some tin and aluminum cans from my home. The service I received was friendly and welcoming. They did not make me feel like I was wasting their time with my 3 bags of sorted cans. THANK YOU!!!

Do you take broken down cardboard boxes?
Yes we accept all of those items
The metal frame chairs should be fine just as long as mostly metal. I'm assuming they also have mesh or something else on them when you say "framed"? Skillet is fine also. Thanks for checking.
Maggie is correct, all fluids have to be removed. If a riding mower the battery also needs to be removed, but we can purchase that separately.
No the dont, but right up the road in parking lot next to fire station they have big purple dumpsters for water bottles and glass bottles.
If the treadmill is mostly metal, yes we will take it. You do not need an appointment but I would direct you to our business hours so you are sure to stop by when we are open. Thanks for asking.
Unfortunately not Jeff. Please call the office tomorrow after 9am and we can direct you to a couple different companies that do depending on what part of town you are coming from.
Sorry for the delayed response, but yes, we do take car engines BUT all fluids have to be removed and the oil pan removed as well.
Yes with the propane tank removed
Yes
Yes. Steel yard does close during the week from approx 12-12:45
We take all the materials you have described. To get the best price you need to have different metals separate. So if you have clean brass separate from clean copper separate from the iron handles, thatβs your best bet. Otherwise we have to buy as unclean material at a lower price because we will have to take apart. Always feel free to call.
Yes
Yes, we accept aluminum cans. Our business hours are correct and up-to-date on google maps. Thanks!
It's a hard question to answer without knowing exactly what you have. It could be anywhere from $0.02 to $0.35 per pound. As a point of reference, clean aluminum beverage cans are CURRENTLY $0.30 per pound.
Yes we are. Feel free to call the office after 9am and we can see of we have what you are looking for.
Need to be a little more clear as to what you are talking about. Is this off an outdoor air conditioning unit, is this off a vehicle, etc?
Any purchase of $50 or over, or any catalytic converter requires an ID.
I'm sorry we cannot. You would need to completely remove the copper from any other TV components before we could purchase the copper from you. Thanks for checking!
Most all major appliances such as washers, dryers, stoves, dishwashers, refrigerators and freezers. Only stipulation is any item that has a compressor in it (so basically anything that cools), that compressor must be removed from the unit. Then if you drill several holes in the compressor and drain the oil from it, we can buy that separately. Cannot accept microwaves. If you have an appliance in mind that I haven't mentioned, feel free to call our office and ask.
Yes we do Lexie, but unfortunately we will be closed this coming week for Fall cleanup. We will reopen to the public on Saturday 9/29.
Unfortunately we do not accept any of those items.
Yes
I'm sorry, we do not accept cellphones
Please call 816-471-3244 for current pricing
Yes Alum in one copper in one brass in one and so on and so on.
They said to call for current prices, as it changes frequently.
