Was flat hard packed small gravel wide trail with beautiful views. Trail was well maintained and suitable for everyone in the family including strollers. Looking forward to doing end to end some day soon.

One of my favorite walks with my daughter and grandchildren. The boys are thrilled to be walking along what was once railroad tracts. The highlight of the walk is crossing the Cumberland River on a railroad tressel. We always take time to watch the birds and attempt to spot turtles and large river fish.

Large parking area for Rails to Trails. One path is 3 miles of gravel to a campground; carefully cross the street, and it's four miles of paved trail to another parking area. Beautiful views. Great for bikes!
