Grumpy? Not at this brewery! I had a smile on my face from the moment I walked in. I am not a big beer drinker, but there is one kind of beer I like…root beer! Their Son of a Birch root beer is absolutely delicious. I chose a flight with that, two kinds of hard seltzer and their Choco Blanco, which our awesome bartender recommended for me as a non-beer drinker. It actually was tasty, the hard seltzers weren’t sweet enough, but they added more flavor for me, which was awesome. When he found out we were a group of teachers, he gave us all a free drink token 😀. This place is a must see in Blue Ridge!

When you walk into Grumpy Old Men Brewing and an old man with a long white beard serves you, that’s a strong brand! Okay, but for real… the beer is delicious, the atmosphere is perfect, and I have zero complaints! You should definitely stop in for a pint.

Love it. Would love to come back with better weather and hangout on the patio. Friendly staff and the little hotdog stand was good too. The pickles were delicious!
