Best service. I asked called wasn't sure if this engine could fit my prius. Well not a problem when you're dealing with Russell or Jake over the course of 3 days coordinating my mechanic to pick uo the engine while I'm at work. The guys are accurate (i tested them) they passed with flying colors. So in the end smooth transaction and basically a new engine with low miles! My car is going to last. Thank you guys.

I worked with Jay at JDM. Great customer service! Initially, the driver delivered the wrong engine and made up some excuse that this was my engine even though the serial number did not match my invoice. However, Jay offered to provide a replacement engine on their next shipment which caused my install project to be delayed by about week. I received the JDM motor which at first looked a bit rusty on the outside, but overall looked good based on my mechanics inputs (i.e., no metal in oil or obvious leaks in any seals). Had my mechanic install the JDM engine in my '01 Tacoma truck and after install, the truck started and roared like a new engine. Ran the car for over 100 miles after replacing the engine with no issues! I am a very satisfied customer and recommend JDM San Diego to anyone looking for a Japanese replacement engine with less than 60k miles.
