ZERO STARS My husband and I have been down on our luck and staying here a few months ago was rough but we managed. We stayed again last night and it was a disgusting nightmare. I went and checked in. He said he will make the bed in 5 minutes then we could go into the room. Waited 10/15 mins walked in, tv was on, bed NOT made, towels in the chair by the bed, roaches everywhere and the floor was so gross that I never took my shoes off. It was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. The place has water damage, there is no house keeping or anyone but the one guy from the front desk. That shows you the poor quality in the room as well as the job and keeping staff. $100 for a miserable night constantly smelling smoke, checking for bugs and laying on top of the blankets and our own towels. This place needs to be shut down. It is TERRIBLE. don’t go there even when desperate. The guy wouldn’t give us $50 back for all the problems we had and wanted to give us another room. I would rather sleep by a dumpster then be there ever again. This doesn’t show the amazing community of Oakwood. This place shows greed of taking your money and doing nothing with it in return. You don’t get what you paid for. You get what he wants to give you and it isn’t even the bare minimum.

Hey people from Gainesville,GA. And visitors. A family member and I got to this hotel "THE JAMESON INN" and asked for a room. 1st, we got at 2am and got kicked out at 11am. on the same 2nd of May. 2nd of all. We asked for a non-smoking room, and all we could smell was cigarettes smell. 3rd. One of the locks was broken. 4th. The Ac and Heather control broke and tv doesn't work either. They charged us $80 dollars for these very bad services and very bad conditions of the room. If you are visiting or just want to spend a night at a hotel, don't go to this one, trust me, you will regret it.

Positive: A warm place to sleep with a hot shower. Negative: Cigarette smell very strong in a non smoking room, holes burned in the bed spread and sheets. No breakfast or coffee despite being advertised as such. Laundry from owner/manager spread out over tables and chairs in breakfast area. Priced bad for room.

Nice person at the counter, very pleasant. The carpet looked new, there was a one inch gap under the door, a bug was on the back of the door. Mold above the shower on the wall, towels were filthy like the weren't washed at all. The bath towel on one side looked like it had grease on it, one wash cloth looked like it had either blood or fingernail polish on it, didn't want to look that close. Two bath towels look like they were not washed and were filthy. We are not somkers and asked when we checked in and said no we do not smoke, the room smelled like cigarette smoke. Bed was some what comfortable, we used our own blankets and pillows and slept on top of the bedspread. I didn't want to see what the bed sheets looked like.
