Completely disappointed with the staff who were dishonest upon signing up. I wanted to sign up mainly because it was 5 min walk from home. However the only option to sign up is to enter into 12 month agreement, no month to month option. Juan was promising that it will be no problem to cancel the membership, saying that their management is very flexible in this sense. Well it is not true. I had to move and struggling with stopping them charging my card for 4 month already. Not saying that it wasn't that big of a fun to train there. Waste of money.

My husband and I went for an introductory class here and really enjoyed the workout. We were given gloves to use for the class. At the end of the class, we sat down to talk to the sales team. My face started turning red and continued to do so as the night wore on. The next morning I woke up with a rash and swollen face. I wasn't sure what was happening but I later found out that I had contracted a staph infection. There was nothing that I had done out of the ordinary other than attend this class. This points to the gloves that they gave me to use not being cleaned properly. They are "house" gloves that the instructors tell you to wear for certain parts of the class. I spoke to the managers several times via phone and email until they turned me over to an insurance adjustor for their cleaning company. I had to give them personal medical records as this event caused me to go to urgent care and then the ER twice. I also had to submit embarrassing photos of my face. I was in so much pain and unable to attend meetings that I had scheduled to find work. It was a total nightmare. After several months of the runaround, I was sent a note that there wasn't enough evidence to show they were at fault. After talking to many that have trained in martial arts gyms and doing research, I found that staph infections are common. Now that "free" class cost me medical bills and time. Needless to say, I am incredibly disappointed and advise others to avoid this gym. My skin hasn't been the same since.

Spacious & clean gym with super-skilled instructors, diverse classes, and friendly & supportive people. Can’t recommend highly enough. I attend CrossFit, Fight, fitness/bag, and Krav classes... and I love them all. Special shout out to Ruby at the front desk, who always has a smile (even at 6am)!

This gym has some intense classes! I was sore, but in a good way--woke up some muscles and I felt like I learned a lot in a short period of time. Tried out the Intro to Krav Maga class a couple of times using a free pass while I was visiting my friend in LA. The workouts were really fun, the class sizes were comfortable (I'd say about 12-13 people with a nice mix of men and women), and instructors very knowledgeable, motivational, and attentive in helping improve my form for a more effective workout. The staff was really nice and helpful too; they gave good tips on my first day on how to wear my hand wraps, and what classes to try. The facility is open and big, and restrooms were generously equipped with things like razors, deodorant, body wash, etc. I had a really top notch experience. OH, and for those concerned about LA parking, this place validates your parking in the parking garage, so you get 2 hours of free parking while you're working out! :) Sweet! Plus, the parking garage is free with validation on the weekends for unlimited parking if you want to workout longer on the weekends. Overall, I would definitely recommend this gym if you're interested in taking your fitness to the next level and learning more about self-defense. Wish they had this gym where I live!
