My senior parrot is like a child to me, he’s my whole world, and this is the only vet clinic I’ve ever found that I actually trust with his care. They (particularly Dr. Cooper) go above and beyond and make me believe that the animals in their care are truly cared about and cared for. They’re not the closest veterinary office to me, but I drive further to know I’ll get the best care for my feather-baby. Thank you VCA!

All I can say is Dr. Bouchey was absolutely wonderful in treating Tia Rose. Tia had started chewing on her hind legs furiously over the course of a week and had been dealing with a persistent cough for a number of months. While Tia has a regular Vet at VCA...Dr. Harborson..when I received a card saying it was time for her yearly physical I scheduled her to be seen by a different Vet for a second opinion regarding her coughing issue and as her itching/biting & hot spot issue developed suddenly we decided to have Dr. Bouchey loom at this too. Well...after visiting Dr. Bouchey in the Richland VCA Animal Medical Clinic...and discussing my concerns and hoped outcome re her cough ( Tia was diagnosed about 3.5 years ago with a heart murmur & has been on meds for this). Dr. Bouchey agreed to take necessary films and as we waited...she recommended steps and meds for both issues. She also explained how she'd like to touch base with their Radiologist to confirm her findings re cough and thoughts on couple meds for Tia's biting and hot spots. I took Tia home with one med for biting but sadly the next day her itching still persisted so I called Dr. Bouchey and she had a different product to try to help with itching/biting & hot spots. Plus, she reported Radiologist findings matched hers. So, I picked up Mousse-type product to help with itching along with RX for Cough and a chewable flea /tick medicine.(yup...only need 1 tablet every 3 months.. beef flavored) which I cut up into Tia's food. She gobbled it up and I only had to use Mousse twice one evening and once again Saturday night! Great news.....Tia is doing wonderfully on Sunday..YEAY!!! So, in closing..took Tia in for visit Thursday July 18 and by Sunday July 22...she's happy, itch free and no coughing!! How great is that!! Thank you Dr. Bouchey, Crystal ( a favorite and great Nurse) who's seen Tia and always treats her splendidly... along with the rest of the very friendly and great staff at Richland VCA. I also want to throw a shout-out to Tia's regular Vet... the wonderful Dr. Harborson who's always been very gentle, caring and understanding with us and Miss Tia Rose! So, if your pet/family fur member needs to be seen... definitely choose VCA Animal Medical Clinic...they now have a few more locations to serve you! Your 4-legged fur kids will thank you and you'll feel safe and have peace of mind knowing you've made a great choice!
