My wife and I came here for a picnic lunch. It was fantastic. You are at the crest of the mountain so you can take a short walk and see the incredible views in every direction and it was so quiet and peaceful. There are great viewing decks for north, south, east and west views. There is also a picnic deck that would seat at least 18 people. It also has an incredible view. This was well worth the drive. I will come back to hike the trails as soon as I can.

Such a lovely place! It’s worth the long drive up the mountain to enjoy the spectacular views from multiple overlooks along the trails. If you’re not able to hike, there is one overlook just off the road that would be accessible for small children or those with limited mobility. A small privy/outhouse is located next to this particular overlook. Also, be sure to visit the Georgia Indian Removal Monument at the lower end of the park. If you are hiking, bring a walking stick and plenty of snacks/water, as the trails are fairly strenuous.

Amazing views! Three different trails from 0.5 miles to 5miles. A place to visit!

We love it here! Beautiful views. Lovely breeze most days. And the hikes are fun and not super challenging. The .5 is so easy and has adorable little "fairy" houses tucked beside the trail. Plenty of space to spread out. Picnic area, viewing decks, and a porta potty are also available. Definitely recommend this spot to get away from the crowds, especially on weekdays. Rarely busy.

Yes. Above the parking area, behind the building is a small covered area with picnic tables.
Not too much.
If I'm thinking of what you're talking about, it's part of the eagle Rock formation. When viewed from above or via drone it will look like a eagle shaped out of rocks.
It says it closes at sundown but the gate is always open and I've been there after dark numerous times without any issues.
No camping. Try Talona Creek Campground in Talking Rock. Or Red Top Mountain in Cartersville. Long term camping in Adsirsville GA. BLairsville also may have some long term.
