Great Farmer's Market!

Still too early in the season to get a lot of good veggies, but we did get some somewhat expensive hydroponic greens and some beautiful sweet tomatoes. They were having a food tasting today of many local cookies, breads, deli salads, etc., with raffled door prizes. There were several local craft vendors with wooden and gourd painted birdhouses, scented waxes and decorative candles, and lots of crochet work. Can't wait til the season heats up!

I was told by one of the vendors that a lot of people bring their pets not sure of the official policy the actual space the Farmers market occupies is inside of a very small building and could be tough to negotiate for a larger animal. there's plenty of space outside of the actual market and it's really cool today so you could leave the dog in the car if you personally deemed it too tight of a space. I would love to take my dog but he's too rowdy for that small area. Lots of fresh baked items and the homemade candles make the best gifts ever
