I'm unable to walk & used their buggy. When I checked out I was exhausted and the sweetest lady (working the self-check ) took ALL my groceries and helped scan them and bag them up. SO nice, EVERYONE

This is a fairly nice place to grocery shop. They seem to have a bunch of kids working at this location and no one has taught them about customer service or awareness. But over all good

I love the wholesome rural atmosphere of Food City. It reminds me of the country store that I worked in when I was young , except it has a much better selection to choose from.

I was hired at food city, Within a month I became full time. I asked Jason the store manager to allow me time to go to church. Without any negotiation or compromise or compromise I was told I would be demoted and lose full time benefits if I wanted to have a schedule that allowed me to go to church. There was no option for negotiating maybe every other Sunday or something to compromise. I simply just needed a Sunday to get my fuel for the week at church and become a member at a church since I'm fairly still move to the area. It's important to me to have a relationship at a community church. Since there was no negotiation or compromise at all during the 4 minute conversation I offered my 2 week notice, Jason just said leave now. It just goes to show that companies don't seem to care about their people. I'm not posting this without having made the effort the effort to call somebody at food city without any return messages. If negotiations would have been permitted to maybe discuss every other Sunday or something to that nature I would have been fine with that but it just shows that people are dispensable and replaceable at any minute. I enjoyed my time there and I felt like things would move forward in a positive way for the department I was in. I am just let down by the fact that my religious options were not looked upon fairly.
