After getting into shooting and only shooting rifles for the past year, I decided to purchase my first handgun a couple of weeks ago. After feeling unwelcome at a few other local shops around town I found myself at Gunny's. The lady could not be more happy to spend about an hour going over options and help me decide what I was looking for. Went back the next day to purchase it and a membership. Found myself taking the conceal carry class the next week. And with their tips and help passed with flying colors. They really take the time to help you and and are super friendly. Glad I found my way over there. I plan in being a regular here.

Summary: My wife and I love Gunny's. The store employees have been wonderfully pleasant and helpful and the prices have been very fair. Great deals all around. Very positive experience. Recently moved my family to Maryville in Oct of 2020 and discovered Gunny's when my wife went there to get her finger prints done for her insurance license. She said the people there were so pleasant and helpful that we needed to go back to look into purchasing our first firearm. Fast forward to the beginning of August of 2021: went back to Gunny's to purchase our first firearm. The experience was wonderful. They helped us figure out which handgun would be better suited to both my wife and myself and then took us down to the range and showed us how to operate them. Gave us a really good deal, too. Walked out with two really nice handguns, a gun safe, and a membership. Went back the next Saturday, shot at the range, and had a blast. Again, wonderful experience. Bought a Beretta handgun at Gunny's yesterday (another really good price) and took a firearms safety class there. The instructor was Jeff, who seems to be a really great guy. He was really patient and instructive with both my wife and myself as well as with my 15 year old son. Our experience there has been so positive that we have zero desire to buy our firearms and supplies from anywhere else. Looking forward to going back to the range.

They have a great selection of nice, more compact handguns. Me and my wife was in there recently and they had a real nice variety. I couldn't give you specifics at this point but they're certainly worth a look.
