George’s cleaners has consistently provided amazing service with an amazing outcome. This is enough by itself, and frankly the reason I go, but they do not stop there, they are extremely friendly and personable. This friendly customer first and community focused philosophy from the owners is reflected amongst management and staff at large. I have always appreciated their service and will continue to be a customer.

Decent dry cleaning. But, PLEASE, NEVER, EVER, go here for alterations. I gave this place one more chance after they messed up my suit. I know a $700 suit is not a lot for some, but for me it is a big deal. They literally did two very specific things I told them not to do to my pants. I repeated it several times. And they said “yes.” Additionally, they are VERY impatient and quick to get my measurements and needles in, and move on. Stop rushing your clients!!! I am NEVER going here again. The lesson I learned from this is that if any customer service company tries to rush me through a process: especially for several hundred dollars worth of work, just LEAVE!!! My fellow citizens, don’t go here. Love ya!

I'm very disappointed. My family has been using Georges for about 25 years now. So of course I used them. I took my wedding dress to them (and this is after they had 2 other dress for 3 months and still didn't finish the pockets and I was already frustrated, but I figured it was a fluke). My wedding dress was in a custom made garment bag and I explained that I wanted that back. I didn't want to take my dress in some cheap plastic and run the risk of it getting hurt. Not only did I show up to pick up my dress and the bag was gone, but the manager tells me that they THREW IT AWAY!!!! I told him I wasn't taking the dress till they found it, but I would pay for the cleaning. They didn't do ANYTHING to correct the situation and when I finally picked up my dress they didn't even apologize. Needless to say I'm NEVER going back...

They have a seamstress on site I think two days a week possibly three call store for Chimes that she is there

Thank you for reaching out to us regarding your drapes. We can typically mend lining the only issue we at times are concerned with are the fibers and sun damage with drapes. If you would please bring your drapes to our Lancaster store the seamstress will be glad to help you with this job.
