Employees playing around too much to help customers. They sure do worry about getting the numbers for credit card approvals though! I sure am glad I don’t work in retail anymore. Not crazy about this Belks. I prefer the one close to home in Columbia.

Used to be a favorite, but now management has drastically cut back on service. Down to one 3-stall dressing room instead of four full dressing rooms. These were unattended anyway, so lack of help doesn't really apply. Down to one register open. Long lines. 😞

No one available to assist with merchandise. This has happened repeatedly. Had to go to the other side of the store to find a checkout. 5 people in line. One person checking out customers the second person folding/hanging stock. Asked to see the manager - poor customer service and management could have cared less. Saw only a handful of customers in the store. Isn't hard to figure out why. So sad, nothing like our Belk store of years ago.

This Belk was busier than I would have expected on a Wed at noon. The store interior was nice, clean and well lit. The prices reminded me I don't shop at Belk more but the selection was decent and the sales guy who checked me out was great. Personable and he let you know about the CC and App and other chances to engage with the company but he wasn't pushy and he saved me 40% so he helped them keep 4 stars. The one off is for the regular prices being high.
