Lakeside is a beautiful place. The staff is very friendly and professional. We reserved an event space for a shower and everything turned out beautifully. Jefferson, event director, was very helpful and prompt throughout the entire process. Thank you Lakeside for an evening of great memories! And the food is as amazing!

The staff was very friendly. The room was nice but just a few small things kept it from a five star review. There was water on a table like someone had a drink on there that wasn't wiped off. Also, the shower would only give luke warm water no matter where you turned the dial. It is convenient to most everything.

Terrible stay! First, check in states 4:00PM and our room was still not ready at that time, but this is just a minor complaint. When we got to our room and opened the door it smelled. We found numerous cob webs and bugs throughout our room. We went to the desk to complain and ask for a refund to stay elsewhere. The receptionist told us she couldn't do anything with no manager on duty. So we stuck it out, the next morning we complained again and showed pictures of the bugs. We also had a very warm room and the AC wouldn't drop below a certain temperature. We were told they would inform management and follow up with us the next day. It's been two days and no call. I rarely leave bad reviews but we had such a poor experience. Save yourself the hassle and check in elsewhere.

Eastover Farm

Staff was friendly, great view, great proximity and amenities appeared to be nice… however, several issues: 1. “Shared” suite (door in between rooms) was not sound or light proof - could hear entire conversations held from arrival time until the other party decided to sleep. 2. Bathroom only had a pocket door that would not stay shut. 3. Bathroom had red algae growing from not being properly cleaned. 4. Bathroom exhaust fan had dust/fiber-type buildup. 5. Does not offer breakfast, which is not stated at booking; they do serve brunch, though probably great for a late sleeper NOT good for persons with children. Proximity is definitely not worth the price! More money was placed into the location than into the construction. If you want to play a round of golf and then come back to relax outside with an adult beverage (brought by patron) and a cigar - not an option (except for in your vehicle).
