I don't get to go here often, but this place is fun. The anniversary party I went to was a blast. Great place to watch Dread Crew of Oddwood, and drink beer out of a horn. They fit right in.

We stopped in on a Sunday afternoon on a whim after Googling area breweries. The beer was fantastic (loved the Old Ale in particular), the MTG card wall and various nods to fandoms around the taproom were great conversation starters, and the music was quiet enough to both listen to the sound and talk. We will be back next time we are in the area!

A really cool brewery with good beer, fun atmosphere, and nice staff. Came in on a Saturday night and it was pretty busy, but we still had a place to sit and enjoy the beer. They have tons of games to play, and the decor is pretty great including a wall of magic cards. Beer was very tasty and you can’t beat the price. $5 for a pint? Come on, that’s awesome! Stop by and enjoy all it has to offer.

Amid the decorations and artwork, I drew my focus to the most important part - the beer. To put it simply, BattleMage is making really tasty beer. I elected to order five tasters of the eleven beers on tap: Summon Ifrit (Hoppy Amber, 6.1%), Hooded Assassin (Old Ale, 10%), Chaotic Evil (Hazy Extra Pale, 5.9%), Shroud of Mist (Hazy IPA, 6.9%), and The Beer is Dark and Full of Caffeine (Milk Stout, 6.3%). All five of my samples were outstanding. My personal favorite was the Shroud of Mist. As the co-brewer, Chris, informed me, it has been on of their most popular beers - and for good reason. The tropical fruit aromas and refreshing taste makes it a worthy pint to satisfy anyone’s craze for hazy IPA’s. Chris, the co-brewer, recommended we try his personal favorite - the Summon Ifrit. With hoppy notes underlying a great balance of malt flavors, it is a beer that can be enjoyed by hop heads and malt lovers alike.
