I went to Vons to buy a birthday cake for my father-in-law and his sister and because it is Graduation season, I couldn't find a chocolate birthday cake, (their favorite) then Lucy in the bakery came from behind the counter and asked if she could help me, obviously.. she saw I was having a little trouble.. then she said she'll check the back and found there perfect chocolate cake... Lucy saved the day! Thank you, it was very nice of her!

Just bought marinated chimichurri chicken. Only $7.29 , it includes two marinated chicken breasts. For those of you who know what chimichurri is, a staple in an Argentine household and, I never thought Vons of all places would have some thing like this. I'm impressed with their will to have a wide selection of foreign foods & spices. I am going to try this tonight. Let's see how that goes!
