Two stars is too generous on my part. So they get one star. Our waitress was flakey but nice and did her best to make us happy. I wanted a window seat bc I like sunlight she had to ask the manager or whatever he was he gasped but said ok. So we got some very dry hard lukewarm biscuits that had probably been out this morning, I ordered the sirloin steak dinner, I wanted it well done not scorched to where I couldn’t cut into or chew it they whisked that one away before I could take a photo, the manager I handed it to same one as earlier…he wasn’t too nice. the replacement had juice outside but was still over cooked dry and hard and greasy dry as the devil inside horrible. The pintos looked like they’d been yesterdays and were watery no taste had hard ham, greens were gross no taste ham in them tasted like old ham. Greasy green beans so greasy my guest couldn’t eat them. The okra was fry and terrible no seasoning like it used to have. They used to be good and my favorite place to go but now they barely have anything on the menu & the food is horrible, just horrible I’ll think twice before coming here ever again.

It was very poor service at the table, we were seated 10 minutes before the table before us but they had their drink and food order taken before we did. They had their food before we did. We placed our order waited a long time, the waiter finally brought it out but did not have our squash casserole that all three of us ordered. When we asked he said it would be out in just a minute. The manager then walked by asked how we were doing and we told him about having to wait and that one of the people had ordered the turnip greens and they were bad we had to send them back, we also told him about the squash casserole. He then informed us it was going to be at least 20 to 30 minutes they had just put it in the oven. He said here let me get you something in place of it how about baked sweet potatoes. We agreed and he brought them out after we had finished our meals. We went to go pay and they still had the squash casseroles and the turnip greens on the bill. When we ask he only removed one side the turnip greens and we paid for squash casserole and the baked sweet potatoes even though we didn't get the casserole. We usually go to the cracker barrel and Columbia on Bush River road, we love that one and have never had a problem. The food is always delicious and there's never been a problem with substitutions or anything, if there was the manager has always corrected it immediately and removed it from the bill. We definitely will not be going back to that cracker barrel anymore.

We ate at the Woodruff Road location mid Sept 2021 and went on a weekday around 9 am. There was no wait. They do suggest face masks coming into the store. The hubby had the old timers breakfast. Eggs were ordered over medium with whites done. They needed to be sent back (we hate sending food back because of all the bad videos out now) as the whites were so runny they wouldn't stay on the fork. The grits were dry and hard. The rest of his meal was cooked well and tasted good. I had the eggs in a basket. The only negative is the bread dries out completely. Cracker Barrel is always a good choice because of options.

We DoorDashed breakfast this morning and the only thing good about my Sunrise breakfast was the eggs, biscuits, and cold hash brown casserole. The sausage, bacon, and country ham were all disgusting. Sausage tasted old and not thoroughly cooked. Bacon and country ham was super hard and dry—way overcooked like it was cooked then microwaved. Gravy had no flavor, but was at least hot. Apples were mush and gross. Didn’t even touch the rubbery grits. Worst meal I’ve ever had at a Cracker Barrel. Very disappointed. Get a new cook.

They have been in the past. My family ate there on Thanksgiving several years ago.
